After images of Assassin's Creed III's new hero leaked yesterday, Ubisoft decided there's no reason to hold anything back. They've released the box art for ACIII, which show the possibly Native American tomahawk-wielding hero.

According to Game Informer, Assassin's Creed III will, in fact, be set in eighteenth-century America in the middle of the American Revolution. The game has been in development for three years, so fans who have grown weary of the incremental changes that have come with franchise's annual release schedule need not worry about the game feeling rushed.

Assassin's Creed III will be in stores October 30th.

UPDATE: Ubisoft says they will be making a "World Premiere" announcement on Monday, March 5th, at 5pm Eastern. Check back with Complex on Monday to get the full scoop!
