A 32-year-old man was arrested in Pennsylvania after he was caught on surveillance cameras in a local Walmart stealing socks...while naked. Yeah, one would think that socks would be the last thing on his mind, but whatever.

The man, Verdon Lamont Taylor, was arrested at a Pennsylvania Exxon station as he wandered around wearing the stolen socks. Police were able to identify him by the surveillance footage from Walmart, which showed him wandering around the parking lot and store before choosing a pair of socks and putting them on. Shoppers appeared puzzled in the background.

When police attempted to arrest Taylor, he refused to comply with officers orders and even spat in one's face. "He was just babbling and talking incoherent," West Whiteland Police Department Detective Scott Pezick said of the situation. "He was making some references that caused us to believe there was a substance abuse issue."

Police used a stun gun to subdue Taylor, and he was charged with aggravated assault, indecent exposure, retail theft, and other counts, and was held on $50,000 bail.

But at least his feet were warm.
