Rockstar announced that they've finalized the release date for Max Payne 3. The studio had been giving a vague March release window since the game was first shown last year. Unfortunately, it seems they've fallen a little behind schedule, pushing the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions back to May 15th in the US, with the PC version right behind it, hitting stores on May 29th.
The first Max Payne game in nine years, Max Payne 3 takes the series out of the dark underworld of New York City and thrusts you into the tropical underworld of Sao Paulo, Brazil. MP3 will also bring multiplayer to the series for the first time: As a modern shooter, you can expect a more traditional experience (team deathmatch, etc) than past Rockstar games like Red Dead Redemption.
