Southern Baptists Will Spend Millions in 2012 to "Save" NYC

They want God to polish the Rotten Apple.

In an effort to save the souls of Northern heathens, Southern Baptists are planning an extensive "church planting" project in New York. 45 Southern Baptist churches have already been established since 2001, and the area could see 50 more over the next five years.

The North American Mission Board (NAMB) isn't wasting any time, as it intends to spend $20 million during the rapidly approaching new year in 27 cities including New York. The crusaders are also said to be targeting "diverse urban areas," but find it difficult because Northeast dwellers have "strong, independent spirits."

May the Lord be with them on their quest to break the spirits of those hard-headed liberals.
