Forget air-brushing: In the future, models in advertisements may be completely computer generated.

Low-cost fashion house H&M has already gotten a head start on the trend, using digitally created bodies topped with real-life model heads for its online ads.

Jezebel dug up the story, which H&M has confirmed. The above photo shows the same false body duplicated four times— with the head and skin tone altered in each instance.

The whole thing kind of reminds us of that crazy story from this summer about the Japanese girl group member who turned out to be CGI.

What do you think: Are digitally created bodies in advertisements disturbing, or just a fact of life in the 21st century?
