A 10-year-old Wisconsin girl is crediting Grey's Anatomy in helping her save her mother's life, saying that it was the series that taught her CPR.

Who says TV can't teach you anything?

The girl, Madisyn Kestell, was with her friend, 12-year-old Katelynn Vreeke, when Kestell's mother, 36-year-old Kandace Seyferth, began suffering from a severe asthma attack. The two quickly called 911 before performing CPR on Seyferth for four minutes until the ambulances arrived.

Both Seyferth and the Fire Chief who reviewed the details of the emergency response report told The Sheboygan Press that, had Kestell not acted so quickly, Seyferth may not have survived.

Parents - better think about this the next time you want to tell your kids they're watching too much TV.
