If you thought that the Modern Warfare vs. Battlefield war was over just because both games have now been released, you were dead wrong. Now that both games are in our grasps, it is time to start gearing up for the next installments in the series, at least in EA’s eyes.
Despite the fact that they are “officially” withholding an official announcement in writing, EA’s President Frank Gibeau publicly stated this past week “there is going to be a Battlefield 4“. Uh oh Mr. Gibeau, did you clear that with your PR department first? Apparently not.
We don’t think that anyone is surprised by the statement of the fact that the game has already been given the green light. Even still, we wish they would let us enjoy the games we have in our hands now rather than getting us excited for those coming a few years down the line.
