The HBO dramedy How To Make It In America just wrapped up its sophomore season and we're please to report that it was a drastic improvement over the first. Like most series, the show struggled initially to find its footing and voice in the early stages, but during the hiatus creator Ian Edelman and his writers came up with some great plotlines and made some interesting choices, making year two a critical success. Now that it's over, we now count down those improvements with The 10 Best Things About How To Make It In America Season Two.

best thing about this season was a lot more of james ransone. if they get picked up for season 3, i hope to see much more of him. that guy makes this show.

Aside from the fact that you're sucking up to cudi's because he's cudi this was a good review. He did well this year and I enjoyed seeing him more. But he did not "kill" everything. What I did want to see at the top of the list was Ben's affair with super cougar. She gets a picture, but she should also get a shout out.

If you've been reading the weekly recaps you can see that I was a huge fan of that plot line, I figured giving her a shout out in the Guest Stars slide was good enough, she also got a mention in the Rachel slide

rachel and her boyfriend did ecstasy in the first season which is when he kissed the other guy. just clarifying. Lulu is different from most girls, and Cam likes that which is why she's a key role in his life.

im a huuuuuge fan of this show. but honestly, lake bell is just a terrible actress and brings down the show with every scene she's in. the girl struggles to show even the simplest emotions. its brutal, and they need to get rid of her. her plot lines are never interesting, and the only good thing about her this season was that she was paired up with the awesome neanderthals leader. Ship her out and make more room for the characters that are actually interesting, and that can act

I disliked Rachel so so much this season. And come on... Lulu D is awesome!!! She needs more time to the show. I love her. Kid Cudi is awesome, too!

They definitely need to keep the Neanderthal subplot, Tim is actually a really interesting character.
