In a sworn declaration filed in court this morning, LAPD detective Jose Viramontes wrote that he had determined after an interview with Selena Gomez's alleged stalker, Thomas Brodnicki, that the man posed a "serious threat" to the actress. Gomez had filed a temporary restraining order against Brodnicki last month after he proved that he's a grade-A psycho by showing up at her place of work (presumably the set of Wizards of Waverly Place) a few times.
While detained last month, Brodnicki told a doctor that he was "going to kill Selena" - something he said again to Viramontes, adding that he'd had "conversations with God" about it.
Viramontes added that he supports Gomez's intent to get the temporary restraining order upgraded to a permanent one.
Damn. Stay safe, Selena!
