Arthur Levinson Named Chairman of Apple

Apple has finally filled the board vacancy left by the passing of its CEO and Chairman Steve Jobs. The Cupertino, Calif.-based company has named Arthur Levinson as the Chariman of the Board. Levinson, the chariman of biotechnology company Genetech, has been on Apple's board since 2000. In 2005 he became the co-lead Director of the Board. 

Taking over the role of Director of the Board will be Disney CEO and president Robert Iger.
