This past Thursday, Occupy Wall Street protestors marching in Union Sqaure had an unexpected member among them. Anne Hathaway, accesorized with dark sunglasses, a snug beanie and sign that read "Blackboards not bullets" had joined their ranks.
The reigning Catwoman, who reportedly commands a $7 million dollar salary for her films, seems like she would fall into the 1% OWS is so vehemently against. But regardless of what side of the salary fence Hathaway is on, she apparently identifies with the issues OWS aligns itself with.
Anne's 99% gripe, according to her sign? The usage of government funds to bail out banks rather than support education. You tell the man, Anne!
