After a summer in which Hulu was put up for sale and openly courted by high profile suiters including Google, Amazon, Yahoo, Microsoft and others, the company's owners have decided to hold on to Hulu after all.

In a statement, NewsCorp, The Walt Disney Company, Providence Equity Partners and Hulu's senior management said they were ending the sale and looking to reinvest in the popular TV and movie streaming site.

“Since Hulu holds a unique and compelling strategic value to each of its owners, we have terminated the sale process and look forward to working together to continue mapping out its path to even greater success. Our focus now rests solely on ensuring that our efforts as owners contribute in a meaningful way to the exciting future that lies ahead for Hulu,” the companies said.

What do you think, is Hulu remaining with its current management a good thing, or were you looking forward to seeing what another company could do with it?
