Did you reluctantly buy the Gears of War 3 season pass wondering if it would pay off?  If you answered yes, then today is a good day.  The first DLC—Horde Command Pack—doesn't arrive until November 1 and Epic Games has already announced the next batch of content.  RAAM's Shadow is set before the events of the original Gears of War and fans will be treated to more than three hours of gameplay.  Revealed characters include Michael Barrick (from the Gears comics), Lt. Minh Young Kim, Tai Kaliso and newcomer, Alicia Valera.  Players will even get to play as big bad Locust leader, General RAAM, which should make fans squeal with delight.

RAAM's Shadow includes six new multiplayer characters, a Chocolate Weapon set and will set you back 1200 Microsoft points if you don't have the season pass.  The DLC will be available on December 13 and Cliffy B. says it's "the biggest DLC release we've ever made."  That's sweet music to our ears.
