It is hard to believe that it has been a decade since Rockstar changed the way many of us play games and launched Grand Theft Auto III for the PlayStation 2. It all goes back to a fateful day on October 22, 2001. That was the day it all changed, both for Rockstar and the GTA franchise; ever since then GTA has consistently been one of the biggest franchises in the entertainment industry.

Rockstar is ready to re-launch the classic game for a whole new generation with GTA III for iOS and Android devices. The game is being shown off as we speak at the New York Comic-Con. The love for the game and the franchise doesn’t stop there though as Rockstar is also reopening the Rockstar Warehouse (www.rockstarwarehouse.com) and offering a variety of special anniversary edition products throughout the rest of the month. Perhaps one of the coolest offerings is the 1:6 scale Claude action figure which will launch on October 20.

How can anyone not show some love for one of the greatest games in video game history? Even if you aren’t a fan of the series, you have to respect what it did for the genre and games in general. We certainly do.
