Sega Bringing Old School Action to the Aliens Universe

Sega is looking to revitalize the 2D action game genre with a new game set in the Aliens universe. Aliens: Infestation is coming exclusively to the Nintendo DS. The new game has some serious old-school arcade flavor to it as players fend off hoards of Alien scum using a custom built squad of Colonial Marines.

The first trailer for the game, shown above, gives us a little bit of insight as to what we can expect from the title. Seeing it should bring back a flood of memories of classic arcade shooters from the late 80’s / early 90’s.

The game is due out in North America on October 11, 2011.
