I've had this habit of looking up into trees since childhood. Back then, it was most often to find climbing routes, or seek out bird's nests. Now, it's just to have a moment to be impressed by the simple natural beauty of something we most often take for granted. I was deep into my philosophical moment du jour when my woman says, "That's how most people feel looking at you…" applying pin to said philosophical bubble, awakening me from my existential moment, and actually cracking a pretty fucking funny joke at my tall-ass expense.
