Forza 4 Wants Your Money

...and we don't just mean the $60 price of admission. Season pass anyone?

In just a couple of weeks, Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios will release the latest installment in the Forza Motorsport series. Forza Motorsport 4 launches exclusively on the Xbox 360 on October 11, 2011. As with the previous Forza titles, MS is planning a slew of additional content packs for the game. We don’t have to spell it out for you: things may get expensive.

Things don’t have to be as expensive if you are willing to give Microsoft the money for the packs up front. They have announced a Season Pass for Forza 4 that will encompass the six announced DLC packs scheduled to be released between November 2011 and February 2012. The Pass will run you 2,400 Microsoft points, which is said to be a savings of 30% compared to the individual pricing of each pack.

What do you think? Are you willing to give Microsoft $30 on top of the original price of the game for some additional cars and possibly tracks? It makes sense for diehard fans, but we aren’t sure casual racing fans will be dropping the cash up front...
