Looks like this may just be Ashton Kutcher's year. Not only is his debut as a new lead on CBS'sTwo and a Half Men quickly approaching, but his production company, Katalyst Films, has just sold a new show! So, what's the premise – more playing pranks on celebrities, or helping the ridiculously-educated masses find hottie girlfriends?

Actually, it's about the California Department of Motor Vehicles.

Don't start yawning yet though – this might actually have some promise. The show promises to go behind the scenes at the DMV and show people what it's really like to work there, focusing on the odd and sometimes even funny situations that employees deal with on a daily basis.

"With California DMV: Field Offices, truTV is ready to jump behind the counter and see what really happens. This promises to be a fast-paced, fun series, and we’re excited to be working with Katalyst for the first time," truTV's executive vice-president and general manager, Marc Juris, commented to Entertainment Weekly. Bet you never thought the word 'fun' would be used to describe something relating to the DMV.

No word on when the show will air yet, but there will be at least four episodes of, you guessed it, "fast-paced," DMV "fun."
