Here's some totally awesome news: TVLine reports that Ed Helms will host Saturday Night Live on May 14 with musical guest Paul Simon. Helms will be making his first hosting appearance on the sketch comedy show, and he's the second cast member from The Hangover Part II to host in 2011; Zach Galifianakis hosted in March.
Ironically, Helms is rumored to be replacing Steve Carell on the SNL wishlist. Carell was initially slotted into the May 14 show, but couldn't commit due to scheduling issues. The other two May SNLs will be hosted by Tina Fey (May 7) and Justin Timberlake (May 21).
