A collabo between chefs Michael Richard and Mark Butcher, Cleveland Park steakhouse Medium Rare, opens today at 5 p.m. Medium Rare offers a single entree (at a lovely price point of $19.50): a sirloin steak with fries and secret sauce, a salad and artisan bread. The dessert and drink menu is a bit more extensive, which makes sense considering dessert is Richard's area of speciality.

The spot has a purposely minimal menu and simple interior design, with the hopes of blocking out distractions and letting patrons focus on conversation. As it begins to get warmer, this joint's 30 seat outdoor patio will certainly add to the experience.

Medium Rare
Opening Monday, March 28
5:00 p.m.
3500 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington D.C.
