Gucci Mane announced a new collaborative mixtape on Wednesday titled The Eskimo Boys Vol. 1. He teased the cover art on his Instagram account and attached rappers Lil Wop, Hoodrich Pablo, Lil Quill, Young Mal, and Ralo to the forthcoming project. Check out the art below.
There’s no release date attached to The Eskimo Boys yet, but the preview insists the project is “coming soon.” The news follows the announcement of another collaborative project in the works between Guwop and fellow Atlanta artists Lil Yachty and Migos. Lil Yachty tweeted about the upcoming collab last week, and Gucci said back in January that we can expect Glacier Boyz to drop sometime this month.
Gucci is, as we all know, one of the most prolific rappers around. It’s no surprise that the hardworking East Atlanta Santa has two collab projects in the oven, while also cooking up a new solo album and another book.
Beyond the news of all these upcoming Guwop projects, Bruno Mars put an incredible proposition into the universe on Monday: Atlanta artists should perform at the 2019 Super Bowl because, well, it's going to be in Atlanta. The NFL should really listen to Bruno's idea, because a show hosted in Atlanta by Atlanta's own Gucci along with artists like Outkast, T.I., and Migos would definitely be a halftime performance worth watching.
