'Sell Drugz' Rapper Sentenced For Actually Selling Drugs

This Rhode Island rapper rapped his way into a jail cell.

Well, you can't say he wasn't telling the truth.

A Rhode Island rapper, Montana Millz, known for songs like "Sell Drugsz" and "Feds Watching" was caught actuallyselling drugs and unfortunately for him, the feds were watching. Now, the 30-year-old artist was sentenced to three years in federal prison after pleading guilty to over six counts related to drug trafficking.

The police reportedly launched a nearly five-month investigation on Millz which included an undercover officer who purchased a total of 22 grams of fentanyl and two grams of heroin from him. Afterwards, the police obtained a search warrant for Millz baby's mother's house in which they found 44 grams of fentanyl and arrested the aspiring rapper last March.

Millz' lawyer, Matthew Smith, called the three-year deal "fair and just" since prosecutors were seeking a six-year sentence for the aspiring rapper, according to the Associated Press.

Millz, whose real name is Michael Persaud, may be facing more time in Pennsylvania. Last August, he was convicted on similar drug trafficking charges after he and an unnamed female accomplice allegedly sold 70 bags of heroin to an undercover officer during a month-long investigation. Afterwards, the authorities raided Millz' stash house (aka his hotel room) and found more than two ounces of heroin worth about $11,500.

After all this, we're sure Millz will consider going the Lil Pump route and stay away from drugs, hopefully.
