It’s been seven long years since N*E*R*D released their last album, Nothing. So the two weeks fans have to wait between now and when the group releases its new album, No_One Ever Really Dies, next month is really, well, nothing. But if you’re feeling anxious about it and need something to hold you over until the album comes out, N*E*R*D just released another song from the project called "1000," which features Future. It’s available on the usual streaming services, and you can take a listen to it for yourself below.
The release of "1000" comes less than a month after N*E*R*D dropped "Lemon," featuring Rihanna, the first single from the album, in addition to the André 3000 collaboration, "Rollinem 7’s." It also comes just weeks after N*E*R*D debuted No_One Ever Really Dies in its entirely at ComplexCon. If you weren’t lucky enough to be in the building the night Pharrell, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley played the album for everyone, you can go here to read about it.
N*E*R*D announced the title of their latest album just last week. They also unveiled the cover art for it as well as the full tracklist for the project, which is due out Dec. 15.
Outside of Rihanna, André 300, and Future, the new N*E*R*D album will also feature guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheehan, Gucci Mane, Wale, and M.I.A.
