UPDATED Feb. 20, 9:38 p.m. ET:
Just days after he kicked off his Legend of the Fall tour, The Weeknd revealed Rae Sremmurd will join him for the North American leg later this year.

The Canadian singer went to social media with an updated tour poster that lists the Atlanta duo as a special guest. 6lack and Belly will also appear on the 27-date run.

The news also comes less than a week after Rae Sremmurd dropped their "Swang" video, and The Weeknd rolled out his "Reminder" visual, starring big names like Drake, ASAP Rocky, and French Montana.

Original story below:
The Weeknd is set to release his third studio album Starboy next month, with a tour to follow next year. The 26-year-old Toronto star teased the tour announcement over the weekend and has finally shared the phase one schedule which kicks off in Europe in February with special guests Bryson Tiller and Lil Uzi Vert. Shows in the U.S. begin in late April and go through to June.

This tour news should build even more buzz for his much anticipated project, and he's done a solid job at it thus far with two single releases—"Starboy" and "False Alarm"—a major appearance on Saturday Night Live, not to mention a new partnership with Puma. He also recently unveiled plans for a series of pop-up shops that will take place this week (Nov. 4-6). Add in the fact that "Starboy" is currently No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and it seems the stars are aligning for The Weeknd to have another successful album run.

Check out the schedule for the Legend of the Fall World Tour below which includes stops in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, and more cities stateside. Expect more dates to be announced soon. Those looking to gain early access to tour tickets can do so here. The Weeknd's Starboy album will be released Nov. 25 and is available for pre-order on iTunes.
