DJ Khaled's Snapchat story is always full of gems, but that turned out to be especially true on Tuesday night. While previewing some tracks from his upcoming album Major Key, Khaled revealed that he had something in the works with J. Cole. "I'm not saying nothing, I'm just being honest. Fan love, I just got off the phone with J. Cole," he said, with the caption "I just got off the phone with J COLE. Oh I'm just in the studio working on Major Key." Khaled has teased quite a bit about the project, but this is the first we've heard that J. Cole might be involved.

This is sure to be exciting for Cole fans considering it's been a hot minute since we've heard anything from him. Although he started off the year with his Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming concert/doc on HBO, he has yet to release any new music so far in 2016. His Dreamville artists Bas and Cozz have been pretty active, but Cole himself has mostly been on the sidelines. A Khaled collaboration doesn't exactly mean he's on the verge of dropping a solo project, but at this point any new J. Cole music is welcome in our book.

Khaled's Major Key is set to drop on July 29, and fans are starting to get pretty hyped. He debuted the hilarious and ridiculous cover art recently, and made some major waves with the song "I Got the Keys" with Future and Jay Z. Now, with J. Cole and more potentially on the lineup, Khaled is set to make a big splash with the project.
