Palace Short

The BLDG4 Palace Short is a sweat jort built around faded graphics, aggressive washing, and a worn-in finish. The bold short is cut from 100% cotton French terry in a baggy BLDG4 fleece short silhouette, combining oversized proportions with substantial weight and comfort. Available in Black and Mars Red, the garment is finished with a heavy enzyme stone wash and potassium spray treatment that creates dramatic highs and lows throughout the fabric, giving each pair a naturally aged appearance.

The front features oversized graphic artwork layered across both legs, combining photography, typography, and archival-inspired imagery into a collage-like composition. The artwork is intentionally faded and integrated into the wash process, allowing the graphics to feel embedded into the garment rather than printed on top. Additional artwork extends onto the back leg, creating visual continuity from every angle while maintaining the worn and weathered character of the piece.

A raw-edge waistband extends above the elastic channel, creating a frayed finish that adds texture and reinforces the reconstructed design language. Long exposed drawcords hang from embroidered grommets at the waistband, while the hem is left raw and allowed to roll naturally before being secured to maintain its shape. The combination of washed graphics, oversized proportions, and distressed finishing gives the short the appearance of a garment that has evolved over time.
