Exodus is an American thrash metal band formed in 1979 in Richmond, California, and is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the Bay Area thrash metal movement. Known for their aggressive riffs, fast tempos, and intense live performances, Exodus helped shape the early sound of thrash alongside bands like Metallica, Slayer, and Testament.

“Impact Is Imminent” is the fourth studio album by Exodus and the first for Capitol Records. Released in 1990 during the peak of the thrash metal era, the album delivers a fast, aggressive thrash sound centered on complex riffs, rapid drumming, and socially charged lyrics.
