The flagship label of Capitol Music Group, Capitol Records and its iconic Hollywood office tower, is one of the world’s most important record label brands in history. The label’s current roster, which includes Doechii, Leon Thomas, YungBlud, Katy Perry, Niall Horan, Kali Uchis, Offset, and many others, builds upon an 84-year legacy, which has included such acclaimed artists as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Nat “King” Cole, Peggy Lee, Linda Ronstadt, Frank Sinatra, Tina Turner and many others. Capitol Records was founded in 1942 by renowned songwriters Johnny Mercer and Buddy DeSylva, along with music retailer Glenn Wallichs. Capitol’s world-famous office tower and recording studios recently underwent a multi-year restoration, positioning the label for its next chapter of innovation and discovery.
