WHEN SMOKE CLEARS® is an American design collective blending art-rock culture, craftsmanship, and reconstruction into a distinct visual identity shaped by resilience and reinvention. After losing their first collection in a fire in Port Morris, New York in 2016, the collective rebuilt the brand around creating garments as wearable art rooted in chaos. Worn and supported by influential supporters including Young Thug, MGK and Usher, the brand has also been featured through runway platforms including Black in Fashion Council, New York Fashion Week, and MADE x PayPal. Today, WHEN SMOKE CLEARS® continues expanding across fashion, manufacturing, retail, and cultural partnerships while building its universe around the idea of “Art Rock.”
