Mac Miller may have been one of 2012's most stylish celebrities, but don't get it twisted—the Pittsburgh rapper is far from a clotheshorse.

"I don't really think about what brand I'm wearing," Miller says. "I just wear whatever I have that's clean."

That doesn't mean he doesn't pay attention to his gear at all. On the contrary, his wardrobe is full of some of the dopest streetwear brands around. Which is exactly why we had to ask the Man of Next Year who his favorites are. While he was working through the process of narrowing them down, he doled out some sage style advice:

"I think that everyone's coming out with ill clothing—you just gotta find whatever's right for you, whatever brands you feel like wearing."

After much deliberation, Mac gave us some insight on who he thinks is killing it right now. Here are Mac Miller's 11 favorite streetwear brands.

Mac Says: "This is one of my best friend's clothing brands. I think it's cool to wear it."

KIKS TYO

Mac Says: "KIKS TYO is definitely a cool brand. That was a cool connection I made before. One of the benefits of traveling around the world is picking up different types of brands that originated from faraway places."

Mac Says: "I definitely know some people over there. If they come out with some ill gear, then I'll wear it."

Rocksmith

Mac Says: "Of course, I'm still feeling this brand. Rocksmith is definitely family."

Mac Says: "I've seen a lot of dope 10.DEEP stuff recently."

Crooks and Castles

Mac Says: "There's definitely a lot of of dope Crooks stuff that I've seen."

ONLY NY

Mac Says: "ONLY hoodies. I definitely wear a lot of their hoodies."

DURKL

Mac Says: "DURKL's dope. I love DURKL."

Mac Says: "Diamond puts out a lot of stuff that's good to wear."

Mac Says: "Another one of my homie's brands that I definitely wear a lot. They make high quality clothes like the Stay Dirty collaboration."

Steelers Jerseys

Mac Says: "I wear a lot of sports stuff. Usually jerseys or whatever throwback stuff is available—basketball's a classic, but it's a mix of basketball, baseball, and hockey, and Steelers jerseys."
