Loyola-Chicago swingman Donte Ingram is having a moment. Ingram hit a miraculous, last-second 3-pointer to lead Loyola to a Round-of-64 win against Miami. Two days later, the Ramblers stunned Tennessee, 63-62. Ingram scored a combined 19 points in those two games, none bigger than his trey to ice Miami.

After Ingram drained the shot, Chance the Rapper, who was obviously rooting for his hometown's college, shouted him out on Twitter.

S/o Donte Ingram Go crazy shorty!! #Ramblers @RamblersMBB 💯💯

Ingram then made an account. His first post? A retweet of Chance's tweet. He's also posted one original tweet.

Embrace the doubt! That’s what makes the victory that much sweeter.

Ingram discussed making his account during a press conference Wednesday.

"He didn't even have a Twitter, and he got tweeted by Chance the Rapper, so he made a Twitter," teammate Ben Richardson said.

Ingram added: "Well, the real story behind that, I've never really been a huge Twitter guy, and to be honest, I have two classes that require a Twitter right now, so I was on the verge of making one anyway. And then honestly—I mean, obviously winning a couple games in the tournament and the chances we've been getting, guys tweeting at us and getting a shout-out from Chance the Rapper, the South Side rapper, that was the icing on the cake, and I finally gave in to making a Twitter."

A reporter asked Ingram what it was like getting love from Chance.

"I mean, obviously that's huge, for another guy that takes pride in the city of Chicago," the 6-foot-6 senior said. "Obviously he has great music, and he does so much for the city. He's around, he's very supportive, and you look up to guys like that, so that's one of my role models, so I look up to everything he does and how he carries himself, so that was huge."

The Ramblers will take on No. 7 seed Nevada Thursday.
