Snapchat's fall continues with a public social dumping from Chrissy Teigen. The model had been a mainstay on the platform, but thanks to recent updates followed by largely ignored user complaints and the insensitive advertisement asking users if they'd slap Rihanna, Teigen has called it quits. "I stopped using snap," she shared in a tweet. "The update, the constant complaints of people not being able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll...no bueno."

I stopped using snap. The update, the constant complaints of people not being able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll...no bueno

Except concerns have been brought up for months and this isn't different from any other company where quality affects sales. Everyone has been very vocal about the changes and frustrations. Consumers shouldn't *have* to work with companies beyond that.

This is just the latest hit the company has taken, though not as big as the stock loss of $800 million after Rihanna called out the ad. Rihanna fans also opted to delete the app as a result, while others have been complaining about updates to the platform for months, with it's new layout making it trickier to view specific snaps and an algorithm that's become much more dependent on advertisements. Snapchat is effectively losing to Instagram stories, which has been beating them out for quite some time despite taking much of its functionality from Snapchat.
