How much do you really know about your partner? If you’re Chrissy Teigen, the answer is surprisingly not much.
Teigen played a little game on The Ellen Show that Ellen dubbed “You Don’t Know Jack About John.” The object of the game? Find out if the model, Twitter personality, and TV host knows anything about her husband John Legend’s career.
Ellen posed a series of questions starting off with what the name of John’s fictional band in the movie La La Land was. “No choices?” Teigen cries. “Oh gosh. Oh I know this one." She didn't know it at all.
She also stumbled on the next question about John’s first Grammy award in 2006. “It’s not 'Ordinary People?'” she asks, before offering up the correct answer: “Get Lifted.”
When asked about what song John and Alicia Keys sang in an episode of Carpool Karaoke, Teigen answers bluntly, “I didn’t watch it.”
It’s easy to criticize Teigen for not know some seemingly basic trivia about her husband and soon-to-be father of two, but it’s not all her fault. “This is a big fight we always have,” Teigen explains. “He doesn’t tell me about things he’s producing...These celebrities they just put their names on things you don’t know what they’re really involved in.” As Ellen points out, “these celebrities” include Teigen's husband.
At the end of the game she does answer some important questions about John correctly, including what his middle name is (Roger) and the name of his college acapella group (The Counterparts). Watch Chrissy Teigen hilariously struggle through questions about her husband in the video above.
