In a series of verbose Facebook videos, actor Terry Crews has revealed his lengthy struggles with pornography addiction and how he worked to overcome what he considered a "major" obstacle in his life. The actor, who marriedRebecca King in 1990, spoke candidly about how his obsessive habits started to jeopardize his marriage and his ability to acknowledge his own quest for emotional intimacy.

"For years, my dirty little secret was that I was addicted to pornography," the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star reveals. "I had the biggest sense of entitlement ever. I felt like the world owed me something. I felt like my wife owed me sex." According to Crews, his wife eventually declared she was "out of here" after telling him she no longer recognized her husband.

However, Crews notes, he didn't seek help solely for the sake of his wife or even to salvage his marriage. "I didn't get help to get my wife back," the actor insists. "I got help because I needed it." Crews sees this alleged addiction as a "worldwide" problem in need of addressing, adding that he hopes his own candidness regarding the controversial topic will inspire others to take action in their own lives.

As previously reported, Crews and his wife Rebecca embarked on a seemingly harrowing 90-day "sex fast" in last year. "I found that, at the end of that 90 days, I knew who [Rebecca] was and it wasn't about 'Let's go out because I know I'm gonna get some sex later,'" Crews told the Huffington Post after completing the fast. "It was like, 'Let's go because I want to talk to you [and] I want to know you.'"
