Back in 2016, Coops dropped an impressive sophomore LP in God Complex, described by us here as "fifteen tracks of pensive, expressive rap covering themes of spirituality, self-belief and unshakeable vices." Last summer, the North London wordsmith became the latest signee to High Focus Records and today, he releases new single "That Jazz", complete with characteristically languid visuals. To those paying extra close attention, the production here (courtesy of Talos) was previously used by R&B newcomer Jerome Thomas, he himself also working with Coops on the track "Chasing Paper". For those that may have forgotten, Coops outlines his ability with a head-knocking mixture of twisting wordplay, over a bed of velvet-smooth jazz samples.

"That Jazz" is out now on vinyl and all streaming platforms. Watch the video above.
