After releasing a number of tapes to get his name out there, Perico dropped his debut album All Blue in April. Five months later, G joined forces with Jay Worthy and Cardo to form the group G-Worthy and put together a seven-track self-titled project in a single day. "This EP was made in one day," Jay Worthy said. "We just went in there, caught a vibe, and told Cardo to cook up the beats."

In November, Perico not only announced he would be dropping 2 Tha Left through his own imprint So Way Out, but he also premiered the debut single, "Unaffiliated." 2 Tha Left includes features from Nef the Pharaoh, Mozzy, Curren$y, and more. Westside Webb, Cardo, Dupri, V-12, among others, handle the production.
