Before he appears in court for his domestic abuse trial, XXXTentacion will reportedly host an anti-rape event at Art Basel Miami Beach in December.

The Florida rapper shared the news on Instagram this weekend, claiming he was organizing an event that would feature the stories of rape victims in the hopes of helping others who have had similar experiences.

“I’d ask that if you come to the event you come bearing no type of negative energy and you make sure you come with the full support in your heart to those that have experienced any sort of post-traumatic experience or event,” he said. “I ask that you be understanding.”

XXX didn’t provide any more details about the event; however, his publicist told Complex more information would arrive Tuesday.

Art Basel will take place from Dec. 7 to Dec. 10. The day after it wraps up, XXX will appear in court to face multiple felony charges, including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and domestic battery by strangulation. The 19-year-old has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has attempted to change his controversial image. Last month, he promised to donate $100,000 to domestic violence prevention programs, and also issued a half-assed apology for threatening women online and making light of his domestic abuse charges. “If you want your pussy domestically abused, hit my line,” he reportedly said.

XXX told fans he never intended for any woman to feel “violated.”

“I don't take back the remark,” he wrote on Instagram. “But I do want to say I would never intentionally try to make a woman feel uncomfortable or in danger by my own conscious will.”

He continued: “Also, let’s please stop making it a joke to disrespect women,” he said. “[…] That shit don't set [sic] right to me, especially since I've joked about it in my own words. […] I do sincerely apologize.”
