Last night, G-Eazy took to the stage at the Blue Nile in New Orleans for the final date of the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour, and needless to say, the crowd was amped.
A mix of young and old folks alike, one thing was certain: everyone was down to party. With not much more than a little warm up, people were already bouncing to the music and singing along to singles like “I Mean It,” “Order More,” “Good Life,” and “Bone Marrow.”
G-Eazy spoke of his roots in New Orleans and how he got his start there nearly 10 years ago. The rapper even brought out a star-studded cast of features, including Cardi B—who performed her single “Bodak Yellow"—as well as the New Jersey-bred Halsey. Brass band the Soul Rebel also helped him play through his hits.
As lit as the crowd got for Cardi, the room seemed to explode when G planted a kiss on Halsey' during their confetti-soaked duet of “Me, Myself & I.”
With the show taking place at an intimate 250-person venue, the room felt "packed as hell," remarked one concert goer, with attendees standing on sound equipment reaching all the way to the back.
