If "Gumbo" didn't quite whet your appetite (what's wrong with you?), then the latest glimpse at the (surely forthcoming) new Jay Rock album should do the trick. In the clip above, Rock gives fellow Top Dawg Entertainment stalwart Kendrick Lamar a brief taste of a new as-yet-untitled track — prompting a response from Kendrick that is very likely quite comparable to your own.

Since his 2011 debut Follow Me Home, Rock has remained a viable force with an impressive run of singles and guest appearances. Rock previously collaborated with Kendrick on last year's "Pay for It," and good Kid, m.A.A.d city's "Money Trees" — which got the sequel treatment in June with Rock's "Money Trees Deuce."

Since leaving the Strange Music imprint in 2014, Rock has become a highly visible member of the TDE crew — with all signs currently pointing to a resounding "yes" for an impending (surprise?) release of Follow Me Home's long overdue follow-up.
