Amidst recent Grand Jury decisions not to indict police officers in the killings of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, a number of protests have swept across the United States in a call to action to end police injustices. With the ongoing protests, a number of celebrities have loudly supported the movement, including a large group of the hip-hop community that includes Killer Mike, Jay Z, Nas, J. Cole, Macklemore, and more.

Kanye West stayed relatively silent on the matter, until tonight, when he took to his personal Twitter account to send out a message applauding the recent protests over the weekend that amassed around 600,000 people protesting across different cities in the United States. Kanye ended the tweet, which has already been retweeted over 8,000 times, with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter.
