This Viral Trend Might Save Your Relationship

Want to trick your significant other into thinking you're home in bed? Try this.

Honesty and trust are key elements of a healthy relationship, but there are some times when you need to lie in order to save it.

One dude named James recently found himself in this situation, when he decided to turn up with his crew after telling his girlfriend he was staying in for a quiet night. Rather than attempt to reassure his lady with a simple text, he and his friends came up with a much more convincing scheme: They used their coats to create the illusion he was cuddled up in his bed.

James shared the stunt with a Twitter post, which has since accumulated more than 68,000 retweets and nearly 200,000 likes.

The trick has apparently inspired others to try it out for themselves.
