Like the already released Yeezy 750 and Yeezy 350, before it, Kanye West has worn his colloquially named "Yeezy Duck Boots" since his Yeezy Season 1 collection debuted last New York fashion week. As of last night, the once formally unnamed boot has a confirmed name and release date.
Say hello to the Yeezy 950.
The release date is set for this October, which lines up with reports of retailers like Mr Porter commencing sales of their Yeezy Season 1 product in the same month.
While the silhouette mirrors that of the classic duck boot, the release will come in four different colors (all seen in the NYFW presentation last February): Moonrock, Chocolate, Pirate Black, and Peyot.
Unfortunately, there's no confirmation on the retail price at the moment.
In what could be a possible plot twist from what we saw at the presentation back in February, leaked images from thesneakerilluminati's Instagramshow that there may be a strap added to the top of the boot, but this is unconfirmed officially.
