With Anderson Varejao out for the remainder of the 2014-15 NBA season, the Cleveland Cavaliers may need to look for some help in the frontcourt. Now, this may sound crazy, but what about the 36-year-old Kenyon Martin? Check out what Kenyon told Yahoo's Marc J. Spears:
Sure, he's up there in years, but the guy offers another veteran presence. Plus, last season with the New York Knicks, Martin was a serviceable backup forward when healthy. And right now, Kenyon says he is healthy and "ready to play now." Maybe the Cavaliers give Martin a tryout within the next couple of days and see what he has to offer. Stay tuned.
