LeBron James Says He's Releasing a Mixtape Called "King Me" (Also: Happy April Fools' Day, Everyone!)

Nice try, Bron.

Earlier today, TMZ Sports unearthed a previously-unreleased rap verse that LeBron Jamesrecorded last summer over Jay Z's hit song, "F**kWithMeYouKnowIGotIt." And while we initially thought that it was some kind of lame April Fools' Day joke, it actually turned out to be a real thing. Like, we heard it (and actually kind of liked it) and everything!

So it shouldn't come as a surprise to hear that LBJ is also planning on releasing a mixtape later this month. He took to Twitter a short time ago and revealed that King Me is going to drop on April 16. It will feature Jay Z, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and…

APRILS FOOLS! Er, we think? King James hasn't actually said "April Fools!" just yet. But come on. A LeBron James mixtape? Riiiiiight.

We'll update this when we get official confirmation from LBJ. But for now, we're 99.99999999999999999 percent sure that his "F**kWithMeYouKnowIGotIt" verse is the only rap song you're going to be getting from LeBron this month.

UPDATE:

As expected:
