Before he was a member of the Chicago Bulls and on his way to winning six NBA Championships, Michael Jordan played on the 1984 Olympics team with a squad full of amateurs, such as himself. Now, a pair of sneakers he wore during the games have surfaced thanks to a ball boy.

Thanks to Grey Flannel Auctions, a pair of the Converse Fastbreak Mid — worn and signed by Jordan — will soon be available for purchase and the starting bid is sitting at $50,000.

According to the auction site, "This was the last time that Jordan would play a competitive game in a non-Nike product, as he would forgo his senior year at UNC and enter the 1985 NBA draft."

The pair, which is size 13, are white and navy with a large Jordan signature on the outside of both sneakers. The site also goes on to say, "After the gold medal game and medal ceremony, Jordan signed and gifted this pair of Converse to one of the Team USA ball boys. During this transaction, a second pair of his sneakers were also gifted to a different ball boy. Each ball boy says they clearly remember getting the pair Jordan wore on the court during the gold medal ceremony."

If you want to bid on this piece of history, the auction begins on Friday, June 5, and will take place here.
