Sneakerheads know how detrimental the elements can be when it comes to staying fresh and dry simultaneously, but you can now put those worries to rest. Converse is set to drop an all-rubberized iteration of their classic Chuck Taylor this fall that'll easily replace your rain beaters because these things will take all the shit you throw at it and more. With an all-rubber upper, soft fabric lining, and gusseted tongue, these reimagined classics were designed specifically for wet weather and disgusting mud traps in mind, a.k.a. music festivals. Boots are sometimes too heavy for rain or inconvenient if you're stompin' around all day, and that's where these find the perfect middle ground. I had an opportunity to rock a pair at "Made In America" this past weekend and as most east coasters know, there were severe storms passing through Philly and New York. The ensuing on-and-off downpours made the night less than enjoyable and nearly got day two canceled, but at least my feet were protected and, most importantly, DRY.

They'll come in seven monochromatic colors including black, white, navy, red, and yellow, and retails at an affordable $65. Look for them to hit Converse stores and converse.com on September 15 in the U.S. and September 2 in Canada.
