With Jordan Brand's recent Jordan Future release, it was inevitable for the hoops-centric brand to branch out into performance running. It didn't take long because the first-ever Jordan running shoe was unveiled today with the Flight Runner. Equipped with Dynamic Fit and Nike Zoom technology, the Jordan Flight Runner provides comfort and support for all top-flight athletes in training mode.
The forefoot on the Jordan Flight Runner features fused mesh for proper ventilation and the welded shroud on the side panels create a clean, streamlined aesthetic. Jordan Brand placed an emphasis on heel support and responsiveness, so the Flight Runner was designed to help keep your foot stay in place when making impact with the ground.
The Flight Runner will make its debut at the NCAA tournament this week on Jordan Brand-sponsored teams like the University of North Carolina and Georgetown University. The Jordan Flight Runner retails for $110 and will officially release on May 1 on Nike.com and at Jordan Brand retailers.
