It's that time of year again. Time to reflect back on the best sneaker releases of the year and 2012 has been filled with memorable footwear moments. To determine the Top 10 Sneakers of 2012, we gathered a panel of experts for a round table battle discussion. The panel includes legendary DJ and sneaker expert, DJ Clark Kent, founder of Influence Mktg, Jay Corbin, founder and front man of Nice Kicks, Matt Halfhill, Ronnie Fieg of Kith, Jesse Villanueva of ALIFE, Frank the Butcher of Butcher's Block TV. Representing Complex in the discussions were Sneaker Editor Russ Bengtson and Director of Content Strategy Joe La Puma.

Even after the year or so of hype that surrounded the Nike Air Yeezy II had hardly even receded when Kanye proclaimed that the Yeezy had jumped over the Jumpman. The debate was so heavy, in this year's Top 10 Sneakers of the Year roundtable, our panel of industry heavyweights needed to phone a friend to get a final deciding vote. Check out the video to see who they reached out to and how they decided on the Nike Air Yeezy II as the #6 Sneaker of the Year.
