Yup, sorry folks, summer is over, and fall weather is slowly creeping in. To look back at the past few months’ best sneakers we tapped industry leaders to give us their Top 10 Sneakers of the season.
Up first, is owner/founder of Kith and sneaker designer Ronnie Fieg. Fieg will open two stores, one in Brooklyn and one in New York City, this fall. Oh, and besides running the two brick and mortar shops, expect more collaborations with brands that will have you parting with your paper. 10. Air Jordan V "Wolf Grey"
Ronnie says: I really love grey — like really love it. And the grey nubuck they used on these is on point. It’s great seeing quality materials on a retro. I hope to see more of this. This whole shoe really came together beautifully.

9. Asics Gel Lyte III "Mint Leaf"
Ronnie says: I hate listing my own creations…sike! I love these shoes. What’s coming next? KITH. Shout to my team!

8. Andy Oliver Custom Air Jordan VI
Ronnie says: Not only is Andy a genius on the tech side, but my man can customize some kicks. I am a big fan of VIs and he turned a decent colorway into a dope one. Respect Andy.

7. New Balance 2011 Spring/Summer CM1700
Ronnie says: Orange premium leather 1700s??? Yes. Two pairs, please. The 1700 is one of the most slept-on New Balance silhouettes of all time. Up until now, Japan has been eating up all of the 1700s but don’t be surprised if you see me work on a pair.

6. Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse "Infrared"
Ronnie says: I am not usually one for hybrids, but these were done quite well. I love Air Max 90s and the Hyperfuse added a nice modern touch. No need to speak on the colorway — you already know what’s up.

5. Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka "Leopard"
Ronnie says: This isn't the only pair of Woven Chukkas I have on this list. And honestly, if I could list shoes twice they would both take up four or five spots.

4. Air Jordan III "True Blue"
Ronnie says: This is a classic silhouette in a great colorway. Despite the fact that its probably my third favorite Jordan III, it definitely belongs in the Top 10. Just an all-around Jordan classic.

3. Nike Air MAG
Ronnie says: Somebody try and tell me these came out after Labor Day and it don’t count. They count. YO! I remember seeing the movie and praying Nike would drop these. Just copped my pair the other day, I can’t wait to get them… Oh, and they’re a tax write-off? Splash.

2. Ronnie Fieg x Asics GT-II "Ultramarine"
Ronnie says: Surely I am a little biased, but I am really proud of these. My Twitter almost broke, along with the David Z site from people hitting me up from the madness of the release. The GT-II is becoming one of my favorite running silhouettes.

1. Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka “Zebra”
Ronnie Says: These are absolutely insane and by far my favorite shoe I’ve purchased this summer. This is a shoe you either get or you don’t. I love the woven detail and the Zebra pony hair is something serious. The Footscape has become my favorite Nike silhouette. It's comfortable and different enough where they won’t get oversaturated.
