70 More 'Rick and Morty' Episodes Are on the Way, Nerds

'Rick and Morty' creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland announced on Instagram on Thursday that Adult Swim has ordered 70 new episodes of the show.

Rick and Morty creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland announced while showering together on Instagram Thursday that Adult Swim has ordered 70 new episodes of the show.

In a sudsy video of Harmon and Roiland scrubbing up together, Roiland tells Harmon, "I gotta get going, Dan. I can't live in your shower, Dan."

When Harmon asks where he's going, Roiland says, "I gotta get back to work, Dan. We both do. See you soon, Dan, at the workplace."

In a press release, it was confirmed that Adult Swim has made a long-term overall deal, which will include 70 new episodes of the animated show. There have only been 31 episodes of the fan favorite so far in the three seasons it has been on the air.

In celebration of this epic deal, the Rickmobile, a mobile pop-up shop inside a vehicle that looks like a bent-over Rick, will go on a nationwide tour starting May 17 in Atlanta. The Rickmobile will carry brand new, custom-designed collectibles and will hit more than 50 stops.

Rick and Morty, the most beloved cult phenomenon on Adult Swim, has proven to carry more power than most adult cartoons by changing the McDonald's menu with Frank Ocean's blessing. Fans have anxiously been on the edge of their seats waiting for news about upcoming episodes. In March, Harmon tweeted that the fourth season had not yet been ordered.
